night time was the length of the bridge that was spent

and I whisper

my feet are worn
but steady
with you I'll ride
making me appreciate the brooklyn lights
street lights
you roll
I stake
putting your friendship beside me
comforting me
knowing I can see now
friends like you sustain and last
with a bike and hope
now one
proceeding up a stocky hill
