Mirth N' Worship

in a moment I knew you and you knew me
sadness was something refracted from me
the sun stars death and birth
all seem less chaotic
within a new mirth
and all this wondering
now hoping to no more stray
giving me gaiety
everytime I rise a new day

and I study
we love
my chest ruddied

and I laugh for God
and I smile for God
and I have joy with God
and I laugh through God

Pirate Jim No Mass

this is a tale that made a pirate soggy
so about your tears fore' the crew eats you like bait
a tale o' hurt
the cause a bonnie lass flirt
filthy but tender are at the heart
of this this tales innermost content

ol' cap'n jim he was once a ships monkey
no crimp or doubloon could lead this man astray
fore jim would one day be a pirate
with gold tooth he'd never deny it
a black sail of his own would he posses one day

so jim did grow
burly beard full of spat
with a cutthroat crew they sailed the seas and let fly thier frigate
leaving no free to remember
thier jolly roger
never again to see light they'd say "ballast be o'er day"

then one day a cable jettisened ol cap'n jim
a fluke set his piratical acts
her name was o'clare and wih a wisp captured that seadogs lip n' fancy
they met but she alone conquered
hip with switch she doctored
leading like a simple galley

and it was alone he now ventured
fore she made haste with a two fold booty
cap'n jim mutineered
taken by a wenches eyes
no ship
cup o' coins
or bonnie lass to lessen a broken hearts levy

if love were clap in irons this would be jim's fate
for after she was done it was love's prison he'd marry

one day she was less than a whisper
cap'n jim's heart a reef in a lone vesper
drifting
with no ship
jack o' staves
nor man of war for a buccaneer to prey

king's loving ransom

what is this bestowed to me
nails and bones and victory
a stain and frown removed from thee
the wieght of night is what unsettled me
a plight appeared and removed my frown
no greater love than this was found
a hope within is what I see
for one gave all to be with me
no greater love can a being caress
through pain and darkness my knight fought my death
retreating my giant and serving my time
recluse was the bitter clocks chime
what is this when he founded me
a rugged cross with love's tears it pinned thee

collective memory of a thoughtless romantic


these are the collective of my fantasy
inspired
comments
but poetry in motion nonetheless
that is if you want them to be
because today it was a thought to me
today it was a whirly thought to me
that one day true love came to be
and in that twenty four we fell in love
and in those hours pigeons became doves
could this be a silly love song
am I just a dreamer who's let his thoughts gone wrong
Ill be a fool and a desperate romantic
lest my eyes open and the thought
of women practicing needless sex in the city
makes me frantic
an eratic line now outside
but formerly in our attics

ever since I was a boy
I wanted an other
to hold
gently kiss
and say I love her
with her I'd set
and in the morn she would rise
bitter cold never seperating
something to pure to demise

tension masquerading as victory

Father become my day

so then he was done
the father told the son
a tale of pain in which the father
could have been undone
but he loved intensely
never to be loved in return
and from these flames
like gold
he did walk away

and with this tale
in the world the son did grow
he grew
and loved
met a girl
they loved she ran
he gave to others
then they'd take away
father no longer here
only an example remained
the son pressed on
always reflecting a life
but for the purpose of this
lets call it a day
the son strained
to reflect that day
when pain resembled perspective
and rain seemed farther away
you see the son realized
which from this some stray
the more he loved
gave and did not take away
the closer to his fathers perfect love
he would stay
and besides
with the love of his father
any son can make it through a day


Authors note: this is not only a poem about Jesus Christ but realizing what love is through him. Love is benefitting others at the expense of self. Love is more than loving those who love you. When you go beyond the safety zone you find out what love is. Loving your enemies and those who tear you in two.

Mother Theresa once said

"I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can
be no more hurt, only more love."


Love is more than we imagined. Its Beautifully perfect.
