The poem some don't want me to write


indeed this is the truth that's hid
because some don't know what it is
truth
a long way down showing no mercy
to finder or sender
the truth is that rocky road
and that sweet rose

its serendipity and serenity
dopamine and the rapture of romance
its a ten ton wall falling and democracy spreading
its not what it means to you
its what it means to itself

its one realizing if embraced
it could be like taking a 90,000 foot leap
from a hang glider
with no parachute or thought of a prayer

but alas my friends
its also knowing that from that same leap
is salvation
truth in hand
