Kujitayarisha

low whistle
you blow and the minor listen
the few and privelaged suffer with you
low whistle blow and cry
but God's a comin'
for no man can dry your tear
one persistant crippling lament
fear that this life wont haste and end
one thistle sticking
now to my shoeless feet
gavel pounding
roads my oppresor thoughfully laid
my legs have migranes
our soul tired from walking
who will care for the zombies
who will care for the walking dead
a fool I am for crying mercy
no woman mothers a beating grave

AUTHORS NOTE:
DEDICATED TO ALL THOSE WHO SUFFER AND DIE IN AFRICA. TO ALL WHO ARE DECLARED DEAD, FORGOTTEN AND NOT HELPED SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY ARE POOR. TO ALL THOSE WHO ARE TREATED LESS THAN DOGS SIMPLY BECAUSE THEY LIVE IN THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES. ITS ESPECIALLY DEDICATED TO ALL WHO LOOK THE OTHER WAY. TRYING NOT TO SEE THAT THE LIFESTYLE THEY LIVE IS A DIRECT RESULT OF OPPORESSING SOMEONE ELSE. WE ALL NEED TO WAKE UP. WE'RE ALL TO BLAME.

kujitayarishato means "to prepare oneself". Kujitayarisha is Kiswahili; a dialect spoken in Kenya.
