a defined building
a grandiose monument to his greatness
chiseled
defined
and wonderfully made

on one section he uprooted the unproductive parts
taking chisel and hammer
breaking the rotting corruption away

this man the grand designer
weaving a new world
out of iron and clay

so take heed this loving warning

give no room for self pity
not a word of damnation resting in thee

all glory to you running steady in perseverance

this wicked soul life did not find
until touched by hands divine
separation it seems had grips on me
fatherless was the foster parent that did raise me

but when I sought him he brought me out
giving me the connection that severed

fear
chastisement
and doubt

but I now know exactly whose I am
the bond has fathered me

all darkness is taken

like walking on fresh snow

trotting along a frozen alpine slope
falling from the sky are words of memories
bitter sweet is the descent

sweet serpentine. lofty things make me insides scream. this make me soft so call me cream. so deep inside she makes me clean. often saw before but salvation by definition is new... it seems. This thing feels wonderful. It makes me glow, sparkle, glitter, gleam.

Authors Note- I never write poems specifically about people. you have to understand to me writing poetry is the same as a pastor getting up on Sunday and doing a sermon. This is my ministry. Author's Note One of the reasons (in my opinion) why so many look for true love is because the heart longs to be understood or "loved first". The folly is to hope in another human. God has already fulfilled all your needs. Whats more he has accepted you before you were born. He loved you first exactly the way you are. Knowing what you would become. The love relationship between humans is toilsome and vein. All the hours the lovers spend trying to get one another to accept the other. Frustration sets in because the heart longs for an instant. The same instant that is given to us the moment we accept Christ. In an instant of conversion we are given an eternity of love and denied and eternity of suffering. That is perfect love. There is the love we all long for.
